Protecting the wild
for generations to come.
We believe that experiencing wild places comes with a responsibility to help protect them.
Protecting the extraordinary
is part of the journey.
Beyond creating unforgettable journeys through Tanzania, our work extends into wildlife conservation and rhino management — helping safeguard the species, landscapes and ecosystems that make these places worth protecting.
Rhino Management ↗
Supporting the monitoring and protection of one of the most endangered animals in Africa.

A survivor
worth protecting.
Black rhino numbers in Tanzania fell dramatically in the late twentieth century. Today small, carefully protected populations survive in places like the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti.
Our conservation work supports rhino monitoring and management — and every guest who sees a rhino with us learns why each individual matters.

The species
that define the wild.
Lions, leopards, elephants and wild dogs all need space and safety to thrive. We work with parks and partners who protect wildlife on the ground.
On safari, our guides follow responsible viewing practices — keeping distance, limiting time at sensitive sightings and never leaving the track where it is not permitted.

Protecting the places
wildlife call home.
Wildlife only survives where habitat survives. Corridors, wetlands, forests and grasslands all play their part in the great ecosystems of Tanzania.
We favour camps and lodges with strong environmental practices, and support projects that protect and restore wild land.

The people who live
alongside the wild.
Conservation succeeds when local communities benefit from it. We employ locally, work with community-owned enterprises and support cultural visits that are respectful and fairly paid.
On Kilimanjaro, our crews are paid fair wages and carry weighed, limited loads.
Experience.
Protect. Preserve.
We don't believe responsible travel should feel separate from the experience. It should be part of it.
Responsible viewing
Guides trained to put animal welfare first at every sighting.
Low-impact travel
Refillable water, minimal plastic and partners with sound environmental practices.
Local employment
Tanzanian guides, crews and hosts — fairly paid and properly equipped.
Direct support
Contributing to the protection and management of rhino populations.

Your journey
can go further.
The places we travel through are more than destinations. They are living ecosystems, wildlife habitats and communities worth protecting.
